SC5008GL GPON OLT
The Scopus SI5008GL is a compact and high-performance GPON OLT designed to satisfy the requirements of the ITU-T G.984/G.988 standards. It offers best-in-class GPON access capacity, carrier-grade reliability, and solid security features, perfect for long-distance fiber optic networks. Further, advanced management and monitoring capabilities are well-utilized for broadcast, video surveillance, enterprise LAN, and IoT applications.
The SI5008GL has 8 downstream GPON ports, 4 uplink GE ETH ports, 2 uplink GE SFP ports, and 2 uplink 10G SFP+ ports. It supports a split ratio of up to 1:128, enabling a maximum of 1,024 GPON users’ simultaneous connections. A compact case designed in the 1U scale will allow for easy installation and maintenance whilst saving space.
Provides Layer 2 Ethernet switching with 4K VLAN entries, QinQ, and various spanning tree protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP); better multicast performance, with IGMPv1/v2/v3 support, IGMP Snooping, proxy, and PIM-SM; and Layer 3 routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RIP, etc.) accomplish flexibility of the network.
Security features include ARP spoofing and DoS protection as well as binding based on IP, MAC, port, and VLAN. Authentication by TACACS+ and secured Telnet add further dimensions to its security.
