SC 5004 EL
This particular Series Scopus SI5004EL happens to be the ultracompact and ultra-powerful EPON OLT compliant with all IEEE802.3ah and YD/T 1945-2006 specifications. It assures high EPON access capacity, telco reliability, and stringent security for long-distance fiber-optic links. Because of the comprehensive advanced management and monitoring capabilities that it comes with, it can be optimally utilized in broadcast, video surveillance, enterprise LAN, and IoT networks.
The SI5004EL provides 4 downstream EPON ports, 4 uplink GE ETH ports, 2 uplink GE SFP ports, and 2 uplink SFP+ ports. A split ratio of 1:64 and up to 256 simultaneous EPON users are supported. A compact yet efficient 1U design allows simple installation, maintenance, and space-saving efficiency.
Analyzed Layer 2 Ethernet Switching function with QinQ
It supports advanced Layer 2 Ethernet switching with 4K VLAN entries, QinQ, and spanning tree protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP). The device also includes IGMPv1/v2/v3, IGMP Snooping, and a proxy for efficient performance while multicasting. Its QoS capabilities permit port-based or user-defined rate limitation and priority scheduling with SP, WRR, and SP+WRR.
Security policy consists of ARP spoof and DOS attack protection, IP and MAC binding, and secure Telnet login. Valid network protection is offered through TACACS+ authentication and hierarchical user management.
With a switching capacity of 103Gbps and dual power methods of power supply, the SI5004EL provides stable and fast connectivity that positions it as a very solid basis for high-speed networks.
