SC5008ES EPON OLT
The Scopus SI5008ES compact and high-performance EPON OLT complies with the IEEE802.3ah and YD/T 1945-2006 standards. It enjoys EPON access with high reliability, being the perfect choice for long-distance communication over fiber optic networks. The strong provisions for management, maintenance, and monitoring make it suitable for broadcast, video surveillance, enterprise LAN, and IoT networks.
The eight downstream EPON ports, four uplink GE ETH ports, two uplink GE SFP ports, and two uplink SFP+ ports are provided with the SI5008ES. Up to a 1:64 split ratio is supported, allowing connections from a maximum of 512 EPON users at a time. The compact design (1U) provides for simple installation and maintenance while saving space.
Versatile Home Gateway Unit: It contains advanced Layer 2 Ethernet switching with 4K VLAN entries; QinQ; and spanning tree protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP). As a high-speed Internet Modem Router, it provides better multicast performance with IGMPv1/v2/v3 and IGMP Snooping and proxy. The QoS also enables port-based or user-defined rate limits and priority scheduling with SP, WRR, and SP+WRR.
Security-Related Features ARP spoofing prevention, IP, and MAC binding against DoS attacks are more towards the direction of security. Telnet is used for secure login, TACACS+ is used for authentication, and hierarchical user management helps make the network safe.
The 103-Gbps switching capacity and option for dual power supply provide powerful performance for the high-speed fiber network in terms of high-speed and very stable connectivity.
